NPP Needs Unity and Partnership to Recapture Power in 2028 – Paul Afoko

A National Chairman aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko, has called for greater unity, collaboration and collective leadership within the party, saying these are essential if the NPP is to regain power in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to the media in Accra, Mr Afoko stressed that rebuilding the party cannot be the responsibility of one individual but requires the active participation and support of all stakeholders.

“No single individual can rebuild the party without the active support and partnership of all stakeholders,” he stated.

According to him, the NPP’s recovery depends on strong cooperation among the national leadership, grassroots members, polling station executives, constituency and regional officers, Members of Parliament and the party’s eventual presidential candidate.

Mr Afoko said such collaboration would help strengthen the party’s structures and restore public confidence ahead of the next general elections.

He further urged party members to put aside internal divisions and work together towards a common goal of repositioning the NPP for electoral success in 2028.

The National Chairman hopeful maintained that unity and collective effort remain the party’s best path to rebuilding its fortunes and reconnecting with the Ghanaian electorate.
